    You got a good deal, congrats on purchasing a great laptop. Good call on the RAM just added 2 more to my T500 and its made a big difference. As far as shipping goes, mine shipped within 4 days of ordering even tho the estimated was 14 days so I wouldn't worry too much.

    Shipping times are generally fairly accurate. As yes, the laptop will be shipped from China. Once it is shipped and enters your country, they will provide you a tracking number. Congrats on the purchase!

    They usually give you a tracking number as soon as it's out of the factory. Should arrive within a week once it's shipped.

    shipping times can vary but generally in the ballpark. I got my T400 in a week and a half when it said 15 days. congrats, have fun with it.

    How long does does an order stay at the "Submitted" status? My order was placed on March 9, and the status has been "Submitted" ever since, and there isn't an estimated shipping date either. I don't know if the fact that it's going to Canada makes any difference in how the status gets updated, but it seems like the order is just sitting there.

    I'm in Canada I've never seen this 'submitted' status. Do you mean 'confirmed'? It should only take a day to go from submitting your order to receiving the confirmation email with a scheduled completion date.

    Don't worry about it too much. I ordered one 3/9, and it gave me an estimated shipping date of "4/7". I was like "? I'm not waiting a month for this. It'll be obsolete by the time I get it". I got mail yesterday (3/11) that it was shipped 2nd day (I'll have it on Monday).

    Good thing the guy coming up with the estimated shipping dates isn't a stock broker.

    I just got my laptop in, the 13th, after ordering it on the 4th with 2nd day air.

    I am very impressed. The laptop itself looks great. Far exceeding my expectations. This is my first laptop ever though.
