    Hey guys, I just ordered a t61 from visaperks today.

    Now my question is, how do we find our estimated shipping dates and how to track order (like if its shipping or not). All i got after ordering was the receipt number.

    anyone know where we get an estimated shipping date. So far all i got was an email saying that they got my order....

    Check your confirmation e-mail. There should be a link there that links you to your order status page. There you will find your estimated ship date.

    But these days the Lenovo ordering system is having some problems. Those estimated ship dates are not accurate. I had an estimated ship date of 8/13, but mine shipped in early June. Go figure.

    I don't see the link anywhere.

    They did write
    "You may be contacted by a Lenovo Sales Specialist to review the details of
    your order."
    So I'm guessing the info will be there.

    Where are you located at? If you are within the U.S., your order confirmation e-mail should contain the link.

    Or maybe this is the weekend, so no one is there to process your order.

    I recently ordered through lenovo canada, the email i got says that I can check status by calling them and selecting "option 1" but I haven't been able to try it yet as they are closed on weekends

    in canada, you will get an email from lenovo after about 2-3 business days in which your ship date will be identified. Until then, nobody knows so just wait.

    in practice the actual ship date almost always precedes the estimated ship date. It'll be interesting to see what happens with the T61. It's a preconfigured so hopely the date will be more accurate than the custom-builds in the US have been.

    Yea, thats what i was hoping for, and thats why I went with preconfigured instead of adding lenovo options.
