Ordered a T61 Thinkpad from Lenovo Outlet and need some help....

Hello!

I recently ordered a T61 from the Lenovo Outlet and I am trying to figure out exactly what I am getting...

1)whether its a T61p or T61
2)what type of video card and etc.

Also, if you can tell anything else from the following specs, like

3) is this a reliable setup?
4) is this a fast set up?

I think I purchased 4GB ram with 250 gb hard drive, and it appears to have both...

5) does anyone know if the vista ultimate I ordered we be able to use the 4mb or just the 3 of 4 I ordered

Last I got it for around $1200 shipped with tax and its suppose to include Office 2007 Small Business. It will be used for my small business.

6) Did I get a great deal for the price or should I have bought the T500?

The amount of ram greater than "3gigs" depends if you're using a 64bit OS...not what flavor of Vista (basic, home prem., ultimate, etc). I see no mention of Office and the line "42X3558 0000000 T61(DAVINCI3/CORONADO3 DISCRETE MODEL) NO " seems to indicate that it does not have discrete graphics and is not 'P' (as in T61p).

 

Yeah I would agree with Jaredy that it appears this is the T61 model. Therefore the graphics are integrated. The setup will be fine if you are just using your laptop for business. It kind of depends what you will be using it for though. I think you got a decent laptop. Not a great deal, but you weren't ripped off either.
