I'm ordering a T61 right now and just signed up for the AMEX tailormade program...okay that's set up. Now to get the discount I just have to use my AMEX card on the lenovo order? I just want to make sure because it doesn't make note of a discount...I guess I will see it later?

    TIA

    Matt

yes; 1) just use the registered tailormade AMEX card

    2) log into your tailormade account 1-2 weeks after your laptop has been charged (which occurs simultaneously w/ shipping)

    Thanks!

I figure with the wait being so long for the T61s it would be best to put my order in now since I will need it for August rather then wait until the next sale and not have it on time.

With the current shipping delays, let's hope that the Tailormade discount will be extended beyond the June 30 expiry date. It would suck if your order gets shipped on July 1st and the Tailormade deal is no longer valid.

Yea, that would suck. But hey, I'm more than happy with 25% off straight from Lenovo.

that would suck and could very well happen. But i would imagine that the July sale will be quite significant.

I used Fatwallet + EPP + my AMEX card to buy a T61 last week. Does anyone know of any fine print that would prevent me from getting the tailormade discount ? Also, any fine print preventing me from getting Fatwallet discount ?

I do not believe there would be fine prints that would prevent you from getting it, but unless you followed links to get to the EPP page, you would not know for certain whether the TailorMade discount would be applied. I believe they use the link to find out the status of your order, and not your purchase. But you could always call CC and tell them that you did not receive the discount back on to your account and that the purchase from Lenovo is on your statement.
