Hey, can anyone share how long does it take to process their orders (before they even start to ship)?

I placed an order via phone on Monday (6 July) but till today it's still "In Process" when I check the order status.

:( no word about shipping even.

It was five days ago. Give it some time. What's your estimated ship date?

I ordered mine on 6/17 and it shipped on 6/23, I got it on 6/26 and that was with free ground shipping from China all the way to Miami, FL.

Could this has something to do with your "location" since you are shipping it outside of US? I assume you are in Singapore? If you're in US, here is an example of my order for T400s. Placed on June 23rd with ESD 7/7/09. I had to change one of the components which changed ESD to 7/13/09. But they actually shipped it on 7/9/09. You should have estimated ESD in your order page. If not, contact them (call) on Monday to inquire about it.

Yes i'm in singapore but i've a US-shipping address in Oregon.

After checking the order page again... I found the ESD... at the top where the price is. I was too focused on the bottom which says:

    "Status: In process" >.<

    The ESD is 7/28/09. Wow, that's damn long :( btw I ordered a x200s

    thanks twister ;)

oh another thing, when i was configuring the machine, the screen is supposed to be:

12.1 WXGA+ (1440x900) LED backlight with the Next Generation ThinkPad Roll Cage, 3x3 UltraConnect ll antenna

but when I checked the order form, it says:

    43Y5867 SBB 12.1WXGA+,2X3ULTCON.ANTUWB

I wonder whether there's a mistake. Should I ask them to check? Or it should be alright?

my order was listed as "in Process" until it shipped, when the status changed to "Shipped". It also shipped 3 weeks before the Estimated Shipping Date.

    I think you are fine. Their system is just not most informative or user friendly.;

even if you don't have an estimated ship date with the order, when you configured the computer there should have been some indication of when it would ship (a certian number of business days or a date).

Lenovo seems to be fairly conservative with its ship date estimates and they usually ship before the date they give you. My T400 had a ship date of 7/17 but it actually shipped 7/10, three days after I ordered it.

depends to which state you're shipping the item to. Some US-states are tax free (for sales).
