I'm trying to look up some T-series laptop on the website and I can't seem to find too many options. I was mainly interested in the T60 Dual Core but I only see listed 3 laptops only and none of them with a video card other than onboard.

Am I doing something wrong? Am i looking in the wrong place?

Probably not; they took the majority of the T60 models down from the website not too long ago.

An alternative method could be to browse the tabook for what you want, and then call them up and ask about pricing for specific model #'s.

Lenovo doesn't make it easy. For every series level page (T, R, X, etc.) there is a page link that shows a list of model for sale on the public site. It's the link marked " View all models."

    Here's a link to the T page: http://www-131.ibm.com/webapp/wcs/s...000001&catalogId=-840&langId=-1&re=tptevp_tab

There's also a "Let me build it" page: http://www-131.ibm.com/webapp/wcs/s...168&storeId=10000001&catalogId=-840&langId=-1
...but Duo Core isn't an option here yet.

I always check the "deal" page too: http://www-131.ibm.com/content/home/store_LNV_PublicUSA/en_US/special_offers/ThinkPad_Notebooks.html

There's a sale going on right now. Hope this helps you find what you're looking for.

thank you guys for the info.

Just one more question: are the IBM reps willing to usually give you a better deal? Or maybe to throw in some free upgrades?

Usually the best way to get a deal on a ThinkPad is to know someone or be releated to someone who works there. Even if the rep throws you a bone you still got to pay tax and Lenovo's price is probably higher than elsewhere. The reason to buy from IBM is the return policy. Probably won't do better on a Tor X60 since Lenovo almost doesn't have them either.

What is with the missing T60s?
It seems like all the core duos are missing now?

Will they put real graphics chips in a newer revision.
