If I order two identical Kingston KTL-TP667/2G SoDIMMs of 2GB DDR2-667 memory and install them in my T60p (model 2613CT) will they run in dual channel mode? The reason I ask is that I'm unable to find any mention of dual channel support on the internet pertaining to this particular make of memory. I'm concerned because you can't order them in a “dual channel” kit (maybe that’s just a marketing scheme?), you must order them individually. So, can I order two of these and be set to run optimally in dual channel mode or do I need to shop around for another brand?

They should work since they are identical. You don't have to buy the kit to get dual channel.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Order placed for the 4GB of Kingston brand memory for just $228.96 shipped. Amazing because just a few months ago the rock bottom price would have been $1500, and in January the price spiked to $3,000! Gotta love this price crash brought on by the glut of memory on the market due to the dismal Vista launch.
