Does anyone have experience with the original ThinkPad carrying cases? Can they really give better protection with the patent SafePort "air cushion" system? I'm looking to get one for my 15.4" Z61m and wondering if they are worth it. Where can I see one in person? Thanks!

I second that. I received a complimentary ThinkPad Leather Case (made by Targus) when buying the X61. It does a good job in protecting the notebook, but it is just too big compared to the size of the X61. Furthermore I don't like the design either.

Hence, I use a sleeve and transport it in a Mandarina Duck business case instead.
