I was looking for deals on lenovo laptops the other day and came across the lenovo outlet. A lot of there prices are reduced quite a bit and I was suprized. To those that have used the outlet how was it? What kinda products is lenovo giving out through the outlet? I noticed you cant pay with paypal on the lenovo site either.

After searching the lenovo section for outlet threads, there was 7 pages of them lol...so if you want to tell your experiences with the outlet as of late then please do so.

Every one I've seen looked new to me. The downside of the outlet is machines bought there have a one year warranty, which cannot be upgraded via normal channels. You've got to buy a out of warranty extension, which is more expensive.

I bought a refurb and it came with a cracked palmrest. It was a nicely configured T400s at a good discount though. I replaced the palmrest myself, I didn't want to deal with depot warranty. Shipping was fast and timely.
