I've my mind set on getting a refurbished Thinkpad, perhaps a X200, but so far I have not been able to get past the "view cart" page of the outlet.

Nothing happens every time I click on the "checkout now" button. Without it, I have no means to complete the transaction and have lost several really good deals because I couldn't get it to work.

Any ideas/suggestions? I've tried it on another computer, tried it in different browsers, even tried it on my ipod touch. All to no avail.

Have you tried in IE? I tried "Checkout now" in Firefox and there was no response as you said, but in IE it works, brings me to a SSL encrypted page.

Dude - before we had computers, humans used to use a TELEPHONE to order things. They're still available in most countries....

I don't blame you. Especially when they beg you to put their ID number into the sales person who had helped you portion of the checkout page. Especially when they tear your ear off about not buying the extended warranty. Especially when they give you the "Let me talk to my manager (but really just take a smoke break) about that" and put you on hold for ten minutes.
