Holy cow. I'd like to congratulate you on your success.
    I got i5 4200h version.
    My brother have same laptop y50 non-touch screen, i7 4710hq, gtx 860m 2gb.
How did you unlock bios. And overclock cpu. Can you explain a little bit more.
Is it run good? Any freezing or blue screen under heavy load?

yes, there is a bug (hole) to unlock multiplier on first revision of microcode. so i downgrade the microcode. only one problem is tdp so cache ratio clocks down @ 2.1 Ghz. there is no crash or blue screen. i played bf4 and max temp @ 89 Celsius with overclocked GPU.

That's amazing, how do you keep your Y50 from overheating at those clocks?

my room has low temp, use liquid ultra, use cool pad.I overclock @ 3.8 Ghz 4 Active core for better temp.
now i am trying to modify EC to run 2 fans @ Max Speed.
if you noticed, during bios flash via recovery or original update, 2 fans work @ max speed.
