I've posted this on the lenovo forums but didn't get much of a response so was hoping some of the guru's here might have some insight.

In short, I have a P73 and a thunderbolt dock gen 2 (40AN) every now and then when I connect back to the dock via tb3, the usb doesn't work. The only resolution I've got is to do a system reboot, which is a bit of a PITA. Once I do, it seems to work fine until next time.

In this state, the monitors connected to the dock work (I guess these are on a tb side channel/passthrough?) but other dock functions like LAN and usb do not.

After disconnecting the dock, I recently experienced this with only doing a couple of sleep/resumes (without hibernate) in between (unlike the forums.lenovo.com post where I speculated it was hibernate or eGPU connection).

    System is:
    Windows 10 10.0.18363 Build 18363
    P73 with RTX 3000
It is occassionally (regularly) plugged into a Razor CoreX eGPU with a Zotac 1070ti. Had to install 446.14 NVIDIA drivers from the website in order to get this to work properly (without it, every time the eGPU was disconnected, the RTX3000 would fail)

If anybody has an idea on what causes this or how it can be fixed/avoided/recovered from, would be appreciated.

    Thanks!
