Ive recently acquired a T60 and ive been loving it quite a bit. One thing that has been bugging me is that the keyboard isnt recognized as an IBM Thinkpad keyboard (shift+2= ") but recoginizes it as a standard US 102key keyboard (shift+2 = @ ).

Ive tried all the different language settings but none of those give the correct configuration. I recently clean installed windows and installed all the needed software (hotkey driver, etc) but still have the same problem. Is there some standard solution for this problem?

Try UK as the language setting and reboot.

Tried that and it fixed the number 2 problem, but it doesnt fix the other symbols, such as the [ ] keys and pretty much the entire keyboard is still a problem. I dont need US or UK keyboard layout, but an IBM setting!

Problem is solved. The entire time I though that IBM had a unique key layout, but it ended up that i just had a dutch keyboard. Im now going to look for a US replacement...
