I have a Lenovo C100. Can I use PC2 5400 1gbx2 memory instead of PC2 4200 memory? Anyone know if there are any compatibility issues?

Yes, you can use PC2-5300/5300. There shouldnt be any compatiblily problem(most ram manufacturers offer lifetime warranties so you should be safe if there is a problem)
