I just bought a T42 that comes with 256 megs of DDR333 ram (PC2700). And I currently have a dell with 512 megs of PC2400. I was hoping to take one of the 256 chips from the dell and add it into the newer IBM machine, but im not sure how the PC2400 would combine with the PC2700. Would I be able to do it? Or would I run into problems? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Worst that will happen is it won't work and you take it out. Both memory sticks will run at the slower speed.

I was robbed by a sweet little old lady on a motorized cart and I didn't even see it coming.
