I just completed an install of XP on my T61 laptop. I found the drivers for all the devices, save one. A PCI Memory Controller. Does anyone know what that is and where the driver for it may be?

    Thanks.

Can you also post the location of the unknown device?

Did you order Turbo Memory with your system?

It's under the "Other devices" heading.

My apologies; I should've clarified. I meant this location.

    Hmm..

Did you install the video card? Chipset? Card reader?

Did your order Turbo Memory with your system?

I'm guessing you're missing something. If it's none of those, run this program,

    http://www.snapfiles.com/get/siw.html

No installation required. It's a diagnostic tool. But please answer those questions before downloading the program.

Video card is listed. This system doesn't have a card reader. It does have Turbo Memory though. I'll try and get the drivers for that. Hopefully there will be an XP version.

Ok, I got it. It turned out being the "Intel Flash Cache Logic Chip". However, it's showing an ! beside it. I guess I need a newer driver.

    Ray:

I still can't get my Radeon HD 3400 work. How did you manage to get it detected?

    Thx.
