Can any Y510P owners suggest what 8086/8C3A is in the device manager? This unknown device PCI simple communications manager is always there, not sure if it is the intel management thingy i did not install this time round.

It is Intel Management Engine Interface. Download and install the newest chipset drivers first, then Intel Management Engine Interface. Both from Lenovo support page, not Intel support page.

You don't need to install the IMEI driver if you're never gonna use that feature. Just disable it in Device Manager, that's what I did.
