Hello and thanks for taking the time to read this post - I have just purchased a new t60 from Circuit City and already have a few issues and as a side note hate the idea of having to use Vista -Issue number 1: The text when I am online is really grainy and I cant figure out how to change it - I have the same screen as my presrio x1000 and the text while surfing the web etc is much more clearer and readible this looks very grainy/shoppy. So if anyone has a fix for that it would be great -

My second question is the more important one - When I go online I might as well go fishing before my pages load - Yes, I can get onto google, yes I can go through the google search results, but once I select a page to view well lets just say I might as well take a nap!!!! I have not called Lenova yet as I just bought this Yesterday but wanted to see if anyone had the same issue or can provide me afix here - My wife can get online with NO problem so I know it is not our router etc.....Also, I am SOOOOOOOOO close to bringing this Vista based machine back and ordering from Lenova an XP based system - Am I being to hard on Vista or do you all feel the same way???

Thanks again for all of your help!

Two things I can think of.

    1. It's full of "bloatware"
    2. You might need more RAM (you should have at least 2GB... 3 or 4 would be ideal)

I'd recommend a clean install (link in my sig).
And, if you don't have at least 2GB of RAM, get some. Click here for the latest: RAM Deals

Sounds like alot of bloatware. When your start your system up and see the lenovo screen, hit the blue thinkvantage button and it will allow you to do a custom recovery.

If you have a windows anytime upgrade cd, you can do a "real" clean install. Just make sure you run a program like magic jelly bean so you can write down your product key.

Before you do anything, burn off the recovery discs.

I said click on the link in my sig. It explains everything. If you don't like the answers you'll find there then you can come back here and keep asking.
