This only applies to the stickers that tell you the specs that you have. Such as a Windows XP or Vista sticker, Nvidia ext.
If you added stickers, explain in a post what stickers you have added.
1) Yes - I add stickers
2) Yes - I keep on stickers
3) No - I take off all stickers

2) Yes - I keep on stickers
I take off warning labels, and unnecessary specification labels that take up the entire palmrest (which do not come on Thinkpads, thankfully), but I keep the Intel, Windows, and ATI stickers. -

I'm keeping the Intel and Windows sticker on for the time being, but I plan to remove them eventually.
I added a sticker to the lid of my old laptop, a 'My Canada Includes Civil Liberties' sticker, but I had to send it into Dell for repair at one point and they returned it stickerless and I never got around to replacing it.
It seems like it'd be a shame to mar my Thinkpad with a sticker, though. I bet the percentage of Thinkpad owners who have added stickers is far lower than for other brands. -

I took them all off (actually relocated inside the battery bay).
The stickers were getting rather annoying (especially the three on the palmrest) and marred the flat black look of the ThinkPad.
I left the Machine type/serial number and Windows COA on the bottom (they were properly integrated and looked very difficult to remove cleanly). However, I relocated all 9 ( Centrino 2, Vista, Wacom Penabled, Energy Star, FCC WWAN, Cingular WWAN, IMEI WWAN, WLAN MAC, FCC WLAN) of the others stickers. They just made the computer look too busy (some were also starting to wear off [e.g. the text on the Cingular WWAN sticker]).
I really wish you opt out of these stickers or have them relocated to the battery bay by Lenovo. It took a lot of careful work with a pocket knife to remove them, and some rubbing with a damp soapy cloth to remove the residual adhesive. -
Edit: Done! Much better. -
The Fire Snake Notebook Virtuoso
I think I will keep mine. They are small and don't seem to be getting in the way. I have a Linux sticker that I am debating on whether to add.

Took off the Windows XP, Intel, and the Energy Star sticker off, got the gunk removed with an eraser.
Plan to stick my Arch Linux sticker on when it comes in. -
These OEM stickers tend to fade after a while and only become more difficult to get off laterso I remove them immediately and am left with a nice beautiful palm rest underneath.
-
I took off "Windows Vista Ready" logo because it was ugly and I never use Vista.
-
I like the cleaner look without the stickers.
-
I usually keep on the stickers but I'll probably take them off when I get my X200. And yeah, I took off the stickers late when I had my Vaio and now there's a huge shadow of where the sticker used to be haha.
-
I left them on just because its a vista basic sticker

I expect payment from anyone that wants to put advertising on my laptop.

I removed the "ThinkPad Tseries" stickers from the lid and the palm rest area and replaced them with some original multi-colored "IBM ThinkPad" stickers. Looks much better in my opinion...
