    Sorry. I forgot to ask.

Are all those other items you listed (wireless keyboar/mouse, speakers, etc) also IBM products or did you buy them elsewhere?

    Many thanks.

    My setup:

    1) T42 - 2379R9U - $2114 from IBM Shareholder site
    2) Mini-Dock - $99 on sale with laptop purchase
    3) Dell 1703FP 17" Monitor - $300 from Dell Direct
    4) Logitech Wireless Keyboard/Mouse Combo - ~$60 (i think) off Amazon (wanted bluetooth, but felt I was getting greedy asking for the more expensive bluetooth as a present from my sister)
    5) Klipsch 2 speaker setup w/ subwoofer - $140 from Best Buy a while back - awesome sound

I'm happy with everything... Might have been able to get a better deal on the monitor if I searched hard enough or switched to another brand. If you're looking to get any of those accessories, I am a big fan of www.ecoupons.com for spotting deals, amongst a couple other sites. I wouldn't buy anything except the mini-dock from IBM as their prices are not competitive for most accessories.
