Those two keys to the left and right of the up arrow.

Can I turn these off? They are driving me nuts. I'm trying to type replies into online forums, and I'm accidently hitting them and loosing my page and what I've typed. Sometimes I'm lucky and can get back to the page and what I was typing. This forum, however, one reply I was typing, I accidently hit back, and when I went forward to get BACK to where I was originally, all my typed text was gone.

Try using the keyboard customizer utility, I think you can turn them off there (I happen to like those keys, but to each his own).

Where can you find the keyboard customizer utility?

I don't think you can actually disable the back/forward keys using the Keyboard Customizer Utility, but you can adjust the sensitivity level of them, so they require a firmer press to activate.

You can deactivate them in the Keyboard Customizer Utility. Under the Key Sensitivity tab, there's a checkbox labeled "Enable Browser Keys." Just uncheck that box.

I find them quite useful when browsing, but if you don't like them, disable them in keyboard customizer utility.

I love those keys now, but I had trouble at first when I was taking an online exam. It kept going back, which kept deleting my written answers. It was on time limit, so I was very mad.
