Does anyone know if the white palm rest area for the Y450(14" LED, right?) is metal or plastic? I called sales but they didn't know.

I called again today and asked again. This time the sales person said that the palm rest area was plastic. But that wouldn't make much sense since teh y550 is brushed aluminum. I'm hopeing that thier wrong since they don't really have a model thier and are just going by pics.

wow... would be great if it was aluminum... it would add to the sturdiness... usually lenovo use quality materials for their products so hopefully its not plastic
