Does anyone know the part number for the bluetooth module used in Lenovo notebooks or the maker of a similar mini pcie card? I would like to install bluetooth in my machine and I am having trouble finding information on where to find the card...

    EDIT: I need it for a T61

For those of you who might want to know:

    The part number is:
    39T0497
    CALLISTO BDC-2 ADAPTER

And I think you can buy it here: http://www.compuvest.com/Description.jsp?iid=566278

But I still don't know if I can install it because it looks like I would have to put it in the display.

Installation of the Bluetooth module in a T6x can be a bit involved.

Once the LCD bezel is disassembled and before the Bluetooth module can be installed, the LCD video cable behind the LCD needs to have a socket for said module soldered to it--said socket is typically missing on non-Bluetooth T6x TPs and soldering it to the flex cable isn't for the faint of heart.

After dealing with the socket, the BT module simply plugs in and screws to the bezel.

After all that the bezel can be put back together.

Also, don't forget to replace the clearplate under the LCD with the BT version that has the BT icon. Of course, don't forget to install/update the BT drivers if needed.

Man, I wish I had ordered this thing with it! I guess I can go the PCMCIA route, but can I install it through pcie on the mobo?
