    Hi all,

I've been noticing an odd problem with my z61t display where a vertical section on the left side of my screen goes darker than the rest sometimes. It's quite noticeable (and distracting), but it only does this some of the time. It's doesn't seem to be a software or LCD element problem, since there's a gradual fade towards dark, instead of a well-defined border.

I don't know what could be causing it; maybe part of the backlight is failing? But I thought backlights were all in one piece, and either completely went off, or on. I'd call Lenovo, but I'm extremely wary of their support (They've made 4 errors out of 6 attempts to fix other problems with my laptop).

    Thanks!

Got a digital camera? Can you try to get a picture of this, possibly straight head on, and then from a left, right, upper, lower angle?
