Please excuse the stupid question--I did a search on this, but most of the results go pack a way and I'm not sure what the deal is on the newer iterations of Password Manager.

    1) do I have to have the fingerprint reader to run this? (I did a clean install of W7, and I'm not even sure if it originally came on my machine. I have no FP reader but could add on).

    2) is this application any good? I ran it on my T61 (with FP reader), and it was super-buggy. Was not impressed. Anyone with experience on the old one, does this thing function any better?

I'm using keypass right now and frankly I find it a bit of a pain. Thanks!

OK, I decided to answer my own question and just install it and try it. In the space of 20 minutes, it crashed 3 different times (most recent version installed). So, I'm guessing this application is as lame as ever.

Is Keypass related to one called KeePass, because I found it extremely cumbersome. I used the Al Robo Form (shareware only), which is easy, but I think it's probably the most insecure of all the password managers out there.

Lastpass is supposed to be the most popular Password Manager, I've never tried it, but the website says it's 100% free, so might be worth a shot.

Again, this is probably very insecure software, but I use a manager for convenience.

Yep--sorry, Keepass is the one I'm using. And yes, I find it quite cumbersome. Thanks for the tips on the others--I'll give them a look.
