If you dont know what PeerGuardian is, its a IP blocker for those that want to block off unwanted P2P companies from pinging your computer.

Lately, they released a new version so that it could be run on Vista. However, a few updates rendered it useless, KB932596.

However, I ran the Lenovo System Update, and apparently that rendered it useless with one of the newer updates.

I was just wondering if anyone encountered a similar problem, since I dont want to have to do another system restore in order to fix the problem again. The last time I system restored too many times, I ended up BSOD'ing the entire computer, resulting in having to completely reinstall the entire OS.

Mine's still running and my system is up to date with both Lenovo and Windows System update, although I don't know if it's actually doing anything..

Strange, but what OS are you using?

They've been having various problems due to Vista 64bit

    Thats the error I'm getting.

If it helps, all the basic stats are in my sig.
I'm running Kaspersky Internet Security 7, but it has no known conflicts with it.

I only got that problem after updating.

Oh. According to their forums, it seems that x86 OS's are having less problems than the x64 for some reason...

Though I cant seem to find what might be causing it.
