    Hi,

I install Windows 7 on a new mSATA, tried and tweaked for a few days before I reinstall again using the settings that I want. However, after the new installation, I found that the WEI for primary hard disk droped from 7.6 to 5.9. Also I rerun the CrystalDiskMark and found that the read rates dropped from ~42MB/s to ~34MB/s (small memory) and to ~4MB/s (large memory) details below.

Is it normal? Did I do something wrong? Anything to check?

    Thanks.

It would be helpful to know what exactly you tweaked. All in all, my suggestion is to leave the drive alone in the default settings. Any improvements are not significant enough to even notice and if anything, you are more likely to end up where you are now by tweaking something you are not so sure about.
