I recently received my T61 and did a clean install. I installed all drivers and everything seemed to be working fine. Except I couldn't get the Bluetooth to activate. Fn+F5 did nothing for me. I didn't even see a Bluetooth or unidentified device in the device manager.

Called Lenovo and together we suspected that the bluetooth module may have been left out of my machine by accident. They are sending me a module separately.

The weird thing is that I recently did a de-frag...and on the subsequent boot...here comes the Bluetooth module attempting to install it's driver. It's been working since.

Any thoughts as to why this may have happened?

Yeah. It just magically activated itself. The light came on and it tried to install itself on that boot after defrag. I guess I'll just hope it stays working.
