While searching a bit for the x200 Tablet using Bing, I noticed that there a couple of online stores where the tablet is (much) cheaper than on the main Lenovo site.
Are this prices correct? And can this stores be trusted?
    Thanks in advance!

Yes, there are some models at the outlet like the one I want. But I read that the delivery time is much longer than that for the standard way (which, from what I read, isn't stellar too).
The biggest problem is that I'm from Romania (Europe) and the laptop should be bought by some relatives of a friend who live in USA and are coming this summer to visit. The prices here are much higher, the $1500 model is about $2400, and I can't afford this. I know I lose the warranty, but if I get it $900 cheaper it's not a problem.
I'm concerned that it may arrive after this relatives leave (especially in the outlet case) and they must send it by post afterwards, when they return to USA.
It is safe if they order the tablet a month before they leave? Or better 2 months before? And would it be a good idea to buy from the outlet in this circumstances? I hope than till then (may/june) the prices will come down a bit (the x201t is probably going to cost to much).
    Thanks in advance!

hey fellow European ... there are a few shops in the Uk that sometimes have good deals, not quite as cheap as USA but better than normal Europe prices, and they send to a lot of countries. One is hemini.com and the other one is buyitdirect in the UK.

u don't lose warranty. i ordered a t410 from the us. shipping will be done by a friend to germany. u have 1y international warranty, got to check it for your model on the website. i will upgrade to a 3y pick-up service, which is around 60euros. so don't worry too much about it^^

    Thanks for the answers!
I still have some question though. Is it possible to connect a 24" (1920x1200) LCD to the tablet without using the docking station?
And regarding the new models that are going to appear: will the price be much higher (above $1500) than that of the current ones? I know the prices are not available yet (it it's the price from Australia no way I could afford it), but you can maybe predict from experience with previous generations how much it is going to cost.
I hope that at least the current generation gets cheaper... seems that next month a 20% coupon is going to be available for the x200 Tablet :D.
