Hi All, I have had some trouble finding resellers for the x201 Tablet with 400-nit sunlight/outdoor-viewable screen. I've browsed through several websites and have seen very limited options, without specifying the outdoor viewable screen, and selling for even more $$$ than current x220 tablet models priced from Lenovo. I know the x201T is an older model, which might limit availability, but I strongly prefer it due to the 1280 x 800 screen that affords a little more vertical screen real estate. Anyone know how I can go about purchasing the x201T with sunlight viewable screen for a reasonable price (~$1500 or less)? A website, or even someone from this community willing to sell would be great. I would even be willing to consider the x200T with sunlight viewable screen (appropriately priced, of course). Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated thank you!!

I got mine on Lenovo Outlet, but it was a kind of gamble. They didn't specify what screen it is.... and they still owe me 200 MHz per core :) (they said it will be 2.1 GHz CPU but its 1.9 GHz). If there was any alternative for me I'd sell you mine, but I prefer it over X220 non-tablet or tablet series as well. (I'd have to buy new SSD, replace the dock station, spare AC power, as you said "better" resolution/aspect ration etc.)

Thanks, I'll look into that. Indeed the outlet does seem like a gamble since they don't specify the specific model. If anyone knows of an additional resource that would be much appreciated!

Usually you can call in and ask for exact specifications on a particular outlet model, and they can give it to you then.
