    Hey Everyone,

I never use my CD-ROM so I was wondering if IBM/Lenovo sells some sort of plastic insert I can stick in the UltraBay. This would save me about, oh ...0.4 lbs?

Easily making my T400 the slimmest, sexiest black box on the block.

Awesome. You know what though... after pulling out the CDROM, this thing weighs practically nothing. Probably easier to just leave it.

You guys need to buy a 5 pound dumbell and work out your biceps for 10 minutes a day. Your ultra-portable should feel lighter the stronger you get ;) Then you don't need to strip it to make it lighter..

The above solution is mostly used to add an extra HDD, but it works out good if you don't need the ODD. And it'll be a bit hard to find that thing online. :)
