Please can you help
I have just done the clean install of Windows XP on my T61P (6040DVU) However Im having major problems with device drivers. This is my first ThinkPad so I maybe missing something really simple but I dont know.
I have numerous problems. Not all the function buttons on the keyboard work, I cant get the brightness, Lock function or battery to work. However the changing display does as well as the thinklight function.
I cant get the touchpad and the bottom left and right mouse buttons to work as well. Is there something I need to enable? The upper ones just under the space bar work fine.
Bluetooth does not work and says device not found. (Under blue tooth devices it says (Bluetooth Bus Enumerator) Thats how its spelled. Is that right?
I have two missing device drivers in the device manger
1)Unkown Device
In the location of the properties of that device it says Microsoft ACPI Compliant embedded controller)
2) I have two Atmel TPM System devices? One with an exclamation and says windows cant load the drivers.
I have installed so many drivers but nothing seems to work. Can any one help or provide the exact links to the drivers I need?
In Device Manager it recognizes everything else.

Go to the driver matrix page.
You will need to install the hotkey utility for the Fn key functionality.
The trackpad buttons probably need the UltraNav driver to work.
You probably will want to install the Bluetooth software too.
