lately, I have been having horrible battery lately and i think i found the issue..my laptop used to last four hours with word and having a few tabs open in chrome...for the past week, i have been having significant battery drain and i decided to download the cpu monitor to track my issue.....for some reason, my cpu usage % keeps changing simultaneously when idling...it can go from 6%, 30 and 90% when no apps running, check the pics below..can anyone help with this issue...i have checked my processes and my laptop is running cool through this whole ideal..i know it should be around 6-12% cpu usage...please help

Unfortunately, your screenshots don't reveal anything of particular interest.
Try going here and getting a copy of Process Explorer, unzip it, and run it. It has a column that will show the CPU utilization of every process on the computer. Note the ones that appear to be causing the issue, and right click them and select the Search Online entry. It will automatically use your default search provider to look up the process name.

    kobby2k6,
Why do you have 5 instances of Chrome running?

    kobby2k6,
I don't think that your Chrome application is using all of the CPU. It looks like setup.ovr has >24%. That process is part of your Avast anti-virus program, so unless it has been hijacked by some malware, it's a valid job. Have you received any updates to Avast recently? It should not eat up so much CPU.
