    * I'm 30 minutes from calling Lenovo's Tech support because of my only-90-minutes on 4 cell batt.

    I'm around under two hours with wifi on, bluetooth off, brightess low. I have the quadro card and a 7200 rpm hard drive. Running xp

    What were you hoping for with the 4 cell?

    On your side: X3100
    Against you: 2.2ghz, 7200RPM and Vista.

    It is well known that battery life is not a strong point for these machines. But, do let us know if tech support in any way helps out.

    Battery life is not great on the T61, get used to it.

    I have the 7 Cell and it is still only good for around 4 - 4.5hrs if I am careful. (low screen brightness, wifi off, etc. etc.)
