    I just got my lenovo y 500

But lenovo Botch my order they sent me the 120 watt power for my 650m sli unit

anywayz i overclocked it with overvolt mod over at techinfernos i am running at 1150/2500

but games are not running that great without vsync on there is a lot of screen tearing with it on games are locked at 60 frames but are moving like they are at 25 jerky and a lot of drop frames

will the power supply cause this or is the machine just not strong enough to run games

isee this moslty in far cry 3 and bio shock infinite
i am running them at 1366x768 medium / high

    my specs
    650m sli
    17 3630
    16gb ram
    16 ssd
    1terabyte

if its possible can you guys post your nvidia control panel setting

The pic in the other thread is of the 120W PS only.

Try entering your serial number to see what charger you should have got. >> http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/product-and-parts/partsLookup.page

Try running some benchmarks and compare them with the other SLI results.
Run GPU-Z in the background while gaming or benchmarking to see if the clocks are near or equal to max. 790MHz for 650M SLI (No OC) & 1058MHz for 750M SLI (No OC).
The clock should be lower than max if power is a limiting factor.
The 1.1v BIOS mod I think is for 650M & if you are not going to OC then dont overvolt, its not required what it will do is consume more power an run hotter then stock voltages.

In parts lookup my Y500's 120watt adapter looks like "Delta ADP-120LH BA 19.5V6.15Aadapter-CCC"
    I have single 750M.

PS: Call lenovo and demand for some refund like $50 to $100 for this silly mistake or atleast a warranty extension.
PPS: Dont expect magical performance by 650M SLI, it does microstutter quite a lot in some games the fps isnt skyrocketting but it should fair well at 1366x768 for most of the games out there, do get Lenovo to send you one of the 170watt PS

Does the tearing and jittering go away if you run the games in a window?

    First things first--
Get the 170watt charger from Lenovo and do ask them for extended warranty or some cash off for there mistake!

Sorry bro, the screenshot doesnt reveal a lot of the info!
Run GPU-Z and switch to the sensors tab for clock speeds, it will show the clock speeds in a graph which will give you the idea over a larger time frame.

View the speeds for both the GPUs by changing them from the drop down menus.

Goto Nvidia control panel and enable SLI Visual indicators
    SLI | FAQ | GeForce
This will show the GPU usage for both the cards.

Your 650M seems to be oc'd, is it?

did you have that issues before updating to 320.49 drivers? i have 320.18 with dafault bios and didn't experience any tearing. i played games like bioshock infinite, crysis 2 and 3, farcry 3, metro 2033 and other aaa games on 1080 settings with no problem at all. though i did see some tearing when it was still on 310.09 drivers.

Are you using the 170w att power ? What are you frames you getting in those games,
also did u change the nvidia control panel etc let 3d application decide, use advance 3d image settings ,or use my preference emphasizing.
