    Hi,

I'm thinking about getting a "Essential Port Replicator (250510W) for a t61. Does anyone know by experience if the 65W ac adapter works with the essential port replicator? Some websites say it uses the "90W system ac adapter" but I wanted to check if the 65W works as well.

    Thanks

    No one knows?

I've found that the 65W adapter claims to be compatible with the essential port replicator. "Compatible with Lenovo 3000 notebooks, ThinkPad T60, X60, and Z60 Series notebooks, ThinkPad Advanced Mini Dock, ThinkPad Essential Port Replicator, and ThinkPad External Battery Charger. "

But the essential port replicator page says "Uses the system 90W AC adapter, which can be purchased separately."

Great, thanks! Any idea if it is full functionality? (external LCD, USB)

Then it seems there really is no point in getting the 90W adapter. I guess they just want to sell us a more costly adapter....
