Just a quick question before it bursts into concern:
I tried installing my WACOM tablet driver onto my notebook and all you hear is the general sound of the cd drive and then clicking within the notebook. Nothing registers when "My Computer" is opened and the drive reads as it has nothing in it. However, I can install other drivers from my digi. cam, and also run cd's/dvd's. I'm not too sure what the problem is. Also, i've installed the WACOM driver onto another computer just fine.
Anyone have any idea what the problem may be?

probably something wrong with the CD. Certain drives may be more sensitive than others to dirt/scratches/etc on the CD. You've got a few options:
1. Try cleaning the CD with a soft lint-free cloth and try again.
2. Copy the drivers/installation package from the CD to a thumb-drive on another computer which can read the CD.
3. Download the latest version of the software/drivers from the internet.

A firmware update if availble and/or deleting the ide drivers might help. If it can read other discs sounds like a dirty disc to me.

Thanks for the help and replies guys. I just ended up copying the CD and it worked fine. Faulty CD it was.
