    If you mean for T61/X61's, the answer is yes. Click on this link for more details.

    For T60's/X60's it's a no due to hardware limitations on the chipset, it can only support SATA 1.5GB/s.

    when posting here, it would be helpful to specify the system you're asking about, especially with nothing but apple products in your sig.

    as an aside, it's 1.5 Gb/sec, not GB/sec. ;)
