    I like the Thinkpad but not the touchpad , can I use an external mouse ?

    Yes, of course you can. As long as any laptop has a USB port/wireless/bluetooth (depending on what the mouse uses) you can use an external mouse

    Absolutely. In fact I am using one right now (along with an external monitor and MS ergo keyboard) :)
