There are a few threads scattered around concerning this, but they are relatively old, and would like to see what drivers everyone was using especially since nvidia released a ton of new drivers over the past few months.

Also please mention what you use your video card primarily for (i.e. games vs openGl apps)

I'm using the most recent windows update drivers (probably not the most ideal, but I've been too lazy to uninstall them and find another set from laptopvideo2go). I primarily use it for gaming and scored ~3800 on 3Dmark06 (stock clock speeds).

alot of people like the 17x series. it's a good idea to experiment with different ones if you run into any problems. a common problem is computer not going into standby.

I ran the 174.31 drivers for about 6 weeks without any problems and was able to play games with no problems. Also score a high 3DMark06 score with it.

I have been running 175.16 successfully for about 2 weeks now. Able to play games and scored just a few points over 6000 on 3DMark06.

I've been running 175.70 drivers for a couple days now. Everything seems to be working fine. I play games like COD4, Assassin's Creed, Crysis. 3DMark06 score went from 4121 (original drivers) -> 4367 (174.31) -> 4413 (175.70).

SonDa5, I believe you mentioned it before, but I don't remember where and what was said. Is your insane 3dmark score attributable to overclocking and the antec formula 5 or?

Combination of tuning core speeds with Rivatuner and upgrading RAM/hdd and Antech Formula 5....

This weekend I'm going to try the 175.70 drivers and smash my 3DMark06 score!

    Safely. :)

I have a secret weapon added in the mix. I'll post the new score some time this weekend.

SonDa - are you actually getting 4-4-4-12 out of that G.Skill Ram? Are you able to set the RAM voltage so it will work?

I think the RAM latency speed is controlled by the conductors in the RAM and not the power source. It's part of the design of the RAM.

From my first thread on this RAM a few months back:
