Never bought a Lenovo before and I might take the plunge on the U330. I'm wondering how's the Lenovo customer service in general, particularly for handling accidental damage and repairs in the US?
I've also come to understand that the ThinkPad line is very durable. Can the same be said of the IdeaPad series?
Your input is appreciated!

Lenovo's service is in the top 2 along with apple. http://www.pcworld.com/article/123409-9/reliability_and_service_the_best_companies_to_buy_from.html

That is a from 2005 :\. I think Lenovo experience really depends. I personally feel the buzz is that the lenovo CS right now is not that great. But your mileage may vary. In my random questions Lenovo has been responsive and helpful.

Only study I could find though. =(

I was actually thinking of getting a Sony but their customer service horror stories made me hesitant. If Lenovo was in the top 2 in 2005, it probably couldn't have fallen far recently. Maybe it's still up there.

I personally found their CS very fast and helpful.
