    Hey guys,

I just updated power manager to the latest version, and now my battery LED indicator is blinking orange and power manager says "the battery has failed due to normal wear..."

My T61 is about 2.5 years old and I've been meaning to get a new battery since this original 6-cell only gets me around 1.5 hours now, but the previous version of power manager was able to recognize this and not throw a battery failure indicator.

So is my battery really dead or should I revert to the previous version of power manager?

Why don't you revert to just see what it says? Doesn't hurt. Maybe it just is a threshold for the battery capacity.

This, there is a chance it was a pure coincidence.
