    Hey all,

Loving my new T61. For some reason, when I keep "Power Source Optimized" in the Thinkpad Power Manager enabled, going on battery power properly switches to a low-trickle mode (screen dims, processor slows down, etc.). However, when I plug the laptop back in, the screen rarely comes back to full contrast, despite being specified to go to 15/15 contrast level in the Power Manager Control Panel.

Has anyone else seen Power Source Optimized not restore "max performance" settings when the AC adapter is plugged in?
