I use Power Manager 2 from thinkvantage (version 2.41a) and of course there is the switchable graphics (T400). I just finished reinstalling my laptop and it all works fine.

I've been searching trough the options but I can't seem to find an option that I can configure so that the intel graphics are used as default when I switch to battery mode. Of course, when I'm in AC mode I want to use the dedicated graphics so in AC mode the default config should be to use the Ati.

It seems I can only switch between the two manually. I can't find an option when I create a 'power plan' in the Power Manager 2.

So, am I right to conclude I can only switch manually?

    Also from FAQ:
In other words, the function may be provided in future driver updates, but don't count on it.

I also would rather it doesn't switch automatically, not that an option would be bad.

The ATI card simply throws off so much heat that I like running on Intel graphics while not gaming.

I love how they spin it as giving you more control, it's just that they either ran out of time, or it was too complex to do!

This seems obvious to me—and doesn’t require much work. IMHO, Lenovo dropped the ball here.
