What would I need to do to make an IBM T42 laptop that was on during a power surge work again? What parts would have likely been fried?

    Hi powerbooknick,
First adapter fuse. Then whole power adapter. Then Charging circuits onboard and in the worst scenario the whole motherboard will need be changed and maybe some components.

Bad thing. I wish you luck.
