I'm trying to pre-order a new Lenovo thinkpad T60 from Lenovo's website. So I'm ready to check out and it says in reads: "General Error! Please choose 'Call me' and a Lenovo representative will contact you immediately to provide assistance."

Does anyone know what's going on? I'm almost tempted to order a T43 on Newegg. Are the T60's really that far off?

What a pain. Lenovo has gotten a lot better with their site of late, but it's still somewhat of a mess. The T43 is much cheaper, if you don't need core duo it's really worth considering.

To be perfectly honest, I really want the T60's wireless on and off switch. But the idea of getting a T43 in a couple days via newegg is so tempting...

But seriously, the T60's improved cooling and dual core processor are of utmost importance to me. (battery life) So I'll wait. But I do need to get it before the new semseter in the fall starts.
