    Pre-built versus Lenovo build

    It seems like the pre-built models are a better value than any custom build through Lenovo's website, especially when considering the warranty being 3 years with the pre-builts. Also seems like you can have them in your hands a lot faster.

    Am I overlooking anything? Is it worth making minor compromises in terms of desired features, since the options are somewhat limited?

    if you are after the ultimate laptop and not care about the price, then custom build it. If you are after value then get the pre-built.
