I have a T61p with the fingerprint scanner. I recently reinstalled Vista and installed the updated Fingerprint software. The previous versions allowed me to use fingerprint AND password authentication to login to Windows. The new version, from what I can tell, can't. I can either set it to allow fingerprint login (which disables password login) or vice versa. Is there an option I'm missing or am I going to have to live with it?

I've 5.8.2 of the fingerprint software and I can use both password and fingerprint login. Though it may be because I upgraded from the old version to the new one without changing any settings. I suspect this option may be in the bios, did you check in there?

Predesktop authentication is enabled in the BIOS.
