I see a lot of options in windows to "restore" and "backup" I tried using the Lenevo "Create Recovery Discs" it creates the boot disk, but for the data one it says "need a dvd ram disc" whats that? I have a stack of sony 4.7gb dvds... is there another way?

It's probably a typo of DVD ROM, since DVD RAM is pretty much... irrelevant today. Your 4.7GB DVDs should work fine. It's usually 1 CD (for the boot disc) + 2-3 DVDs (for the actual drive image). That'll probably be the best way to wipe your computer and restore to factory settings.

Wait shouldn't Edge also have the F11 recovery partition? It's still a "Think" brand product...
