Hey all... I've been here for a while just looking at what everyone has to say for the last month or so while I await to buy my new notebook when Core Duo prices drop. I really found some great info which made me change from Dell to a Lenovo notebook.

Anyway, I check the prices for Lenovo notebooks on their website almost daily and upon checking today (4/14) I saw that the prices all dropped by about $150. Specifically, the model I was looking at 15" T60p (2623DDU) went from $2,999 to $2,749 (the EPP price dropped a good amount as well to $2,061.75).

    Did anyone else notice this?

I didn't notice any price changes. I was thinking about committing to a x60 myself. I don't for see any drastic price changes on the core-duos seeing as how itÂ’s pretty new technology.

The ones I was looking at didn't change prices (I wasn't looking at the DDU), but seems they have made some changes in the past couple days. The newly added 2623D6U looks like quite a deal.
